Privacy Policy

SAT Banana is local-first. The iOS app does not require an account, show advertising, use analytics, or track you across apps and websites.

Information stored on your device

SAT Banana stores your study preferences, onboarding choices, daily drills, answers, progress, streaks, lesson progress, vocabulary progress, and reminder settings locally on your device. This information is used only to provide the app's study experience and is not transmitted to SAT Banana.

In-app purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. SAT Banana does not receive or store your payment-card details. Apple may process purchase and account information under Apple's Privacy Policy.

Notifications

The iOS app schedules reminders locally using Apple's notification system. Reminder settings stay on your device. You can disable reminders at any time in SAT Banana or in iOS Settings.

The optional browser version can offer web-push reminders. If you explicitly enable web push, the browser's push subscription, reminder time, and time zone are sent to SAT Banana's Cloudflare-hosted reminder service and retained only to deliver the reminder. Disabling web push removes that subscription from the service.

Support messages

If you contact support, SAT Banana receives the information you voluntarily include in your email or call. It is used to respond to your request and retained only as long as reasonably necessary for support and recordkeeping. The app itself does not automatically send study data with a support email.

Data sharing and advertising

SAT Banana does not sell personal information, use advertising networks, or share local study progress with third parties. The app does not use tracking technologies or third-party analytics SDKs.

Retention and deletion

Local app data remains on your device until you use Reset Progress, clear the app's data, or delete the app. For support correspondence, you may request deletion by contacting SAT Banana using the information below.

Children's privacy

SAT Banana does not knowingly collect personal information through the iOS app from anyone, including children. Parents or guardians may contact SAT Banana with privacy questions.

Policy changes

This policy may be updated as the product changes. The effective date above will be revised when a material change is published.
